For the first time, Kamenny Loh will have a reversible channel system for vehicle clearance of 32 channels – 16 in each direction. The number of channels will be adjustable depending on the flow in and out of the RB. This system will make the skip operation more convenient.
It is planned to reconstruct “Kammenogo Loga” without closing it. To speed up customs control, a stationary inspection and examination complex will be installed instead of the currently used mobile complex. In addition, the technology of automated electronic distribution of cars to parking places will be introduced on the territory of the customs clearance center.
During the reconstruction, traffic flows will be redistributed to other checkpoints on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border.
